Dana Headshot

Dana Gilleland

Chief Executive Officer

Hi, I’m Dana. I was born and raised in a tiny town in North Georgia where I attended my local college, North Georgia College and State University. I received my Bachelors of Science in Finance and then continued onto Brenau University in Gainesville, GA to gain additional knowledge and education in Healthcare Management. I’ve spent over 17 years in Healthcare Financial Management ranging from large to small hospitals including building out hospital financial systems.

I enjoy the smaller hospital environment as I believe leadership teams can implement real change in smaller hospital settings. My goal is to always ensure Niobrara County Hospital District is here to serve the community of Lusk and provide the best patient care possible. I enjoy reading, traveling and horseback riding during my free time. I love the ability to go ride horses in the openness of Wyoming and enjoy the beauty it offers. If I’m off traveling one weekend, it may be the city of Denver or the beaches of St. John USVI.

Dan Northway

Facilities Director

I’ve been involved in Healthcare for approximately 26 years and have enjoyed the daily different challenges that come from working in a healthcare setting. I started out working for an Electrical Contractor wiring a specials room for a hospital, then working for the hospital as a maintenance electrician. From that position, I have worked for an Electrical/Mechanical Engineering firm as a construction inspector and worked for a large Construction Company adding on a large addition to the main hospital. My wife and I moved to Lusk 6 years ago to be near her parents and to assist on their ranch if needed. I have had the privilege to work for Niobrara Community Hospital for the last 6 years and have enjoyed seeing the progress the organization has made in providing great patient care to the community.

Kiffani Skukrud

Kiffani Skukrud

Radiology Supervisor

I grew up and graduated from Lusk in 2013. I then went to Casper College and graduated from the Radiology program in 2018 and moved back to work at the hospital in June. While working I finished my CT Certification in 2020. When not working I’m typically at home playing with my 2 dogs, Harley and Buck. In my time off I enjoy leaving town to go hiking in South Dakota with my mom and sister or working on the vintage cars with my father.

Michael Simoneaux

Mike Simoneaux

Interim Director of Nursing

Hi, I’m Mike. I was born in a small town in Louisiana but have lived in Wyoming for over 30 years. I am a registered nurse, graduating from Casper College in 2006. My early nursing career started at Wyoming Medical Center primarily in the ICU. I have been a flight nurse for Wyoming Life Flight for almost 11 years. I began teaching outreach classes at this organization in 2018 and fell in love with the organization and its people. After completing my Masters of Science in Nursing Education, I was hired as an educator and infection control manager. I was able to build our trauma program with the help of my team at NCHD. I am the interim Director of Nursing and enjoy the challenges of this new role. I am married with four children and have two grandchildren. I love playing all types of music, cooking, and running. I am so grateful to be a part of this team and this community!

Don’t be afraid to stop by and see our wonderful hospital!

Shyan Bradfield

Business Officer Supervisor

Hi! I’m Shyan. I was born and raised in West Texas, where I transitioned from TV broadcasting to clinical business office billing which transitioned to billing positions in 2 major hospitals and a mental health facility before moving to the Chicago area in 2014. There I worked for a Rural Health Clinic and a small community hospital; this experience led to being recruited to join Niobrara County Hospital here in Lusk.

My husband, Bob, and I have 5 kids with the oldest being our only girl. We have one left at home who just entered high school. I quickly fell in love with the community here and enjoy helping solve billing and insurance questions. When I’m not at work, you can catch me on a boat fishing or off on an adventure with my family.
